San Diego Cruise Schedule

Privacy policy

Last updated 2026-10-23

The short version. sandiegocruiseschedule.com is a static schedule site. There are no accounts, no logins and no newsletter. The only thing you can send us is a message through the contact form, and we use it to reply. One analytics tool measures traffic in aggregate. That is the whole picture.

What we collect

Nothing, unless you write to us. Browsing the schedule asks nothing of you: no account, no sign-up, no payment details.

The contact form

The contact form asks for your name, your email address and your message. We use them to answer you and to check whatever you reported. We do not add your address to a mailing list, because we don't have one, and we do not pass it to anyone else.

The form is handled by FormSubmit, which receives the submission and forwards it to our inbox. Your message reaches their servers on the way to us, so their privacy terms apply to that step. Messages then sit in our email account like any other mail. Ask us and we will delete yours.

Analytics

We use Clicky to understand which pages get read. It records the usual web analytics data: the pages you view, the page that referred you, your approximate location derived from your IP address, and your browser, screen size and language.

Clicky sets a first-party cookie so it can tell a returning visitor from a new one. It is not used for advertising, we do not build profiles, and the data is not sold or shared with anyone.

We set one other first-party cookie, named sd_go. It carries no identifier and no value beyond the fact that this browser has loaded a page here. The links that open a cruise line's own site check for it, because automated traffic was following those links without ever reading a page. Nothing reads it except this site's own server, and it is not analytics.

If you would rather not be counted, any of these work: enable your browser's Do Not Track setting, block cookies for this site, use an ad or tracker blocker, or read the site in a private window. The schedule, the fares and every page work either way. The one exception is the links out to the cruise lines, which need the sd_go cookie above. If you block it, open the line's own site directly instead.

Third parties

Loaded by this site:

  • Clicky. Analytics, as described above.
  • FormSubmit. Delivers the contact form to our inbox, and only when you send one.

That is the complete list. There is no advertising network, no tag manager, no social media embed, no comment system, no chat widget, no font CDN and no A/B testing tool. Fonts and images are served from this domain.

Links to cruise lines

"Check prices" links take you to a cruise line or travel retailer. Some may be affiliate links. See the affiliate disclosure. Once you follow one, you are on their site and their privacy policy applies, not ours. We pass no personal information to them; we cannot, because we hold none.

We record that outbound clicks happen, in aggregate, so we can tell which listings are useful. That count is not tied to an identity.

Server logs

The web server keeps standard access logs holding an IP address, timestamp, URL requested and browser string, which are used for security and debugging and rotate automatically. They are not combined with analytics data.

Your rights

If you are in the UK, EU, or a US state with a privacy statute, you have rights to access, correct or delete personal data held about you. In practice we hold no record that identifies you, so there is generally nothing to retrieve or erase. The opt-outs above stop the analytics collection entirely.

Children

This site is intended for adults planning travel and is not directed at children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. If we ever add a third party that collects more than the above, it will be listed here before it goes live.
